The fence has been up for a week, but the gate got finished this morning. I really like it. It goes just past the bogenvilla bush and stops before the living room windows. Later I hope to make it go further but the next panel will take the fence from 6 feet high down to 4 feet and it will go 4 feet high around the front. But that will be awhile yet.

I know what a relief it is to finally get the gate on your fence finished. The sense of security that you get from having a gate is like a breath of fresh air. It’s added defense, after all. I hope the weather we’ve had these past years hasn’t eaten away the wood of your fence.
